What is Livemetrix?
Livemetrix is a real-time reader analytics platform built specifically for online newsrooms. It shows active readers, story momentum and traffic sources on one live dashboard, plus a TV-wall view designed for the newsroom.
Is it privacy-friendly?
Yes. Livemetrix is GDPR-native and does not use tracking cookies on your readers, does not fingerprint devices, and does not share reader information with third parties.
Do I need a consent banner for Livemetrix?
Because our beacon does not set tracking cookies on your readers, most newsrooms do not need to add a banner for Livemetrix itself. You remain responsible for any cookie notice shown for your site's other services.
How do I install the beacon?
Create an account, add a property in the Sites page and copy the generated snippet from the Developer Center. Paste it once inside the <head> of your site. That's it.
How fast are the numbers?
The live dashboard updates within a few seconds. Historical trends are aggregated hourly.
How much does it cost?
Livemetrix is free during public beta. Paid plans will be announced only after we have measured real infrastructure cost per newsroom, so pricing stays honest.
Where is my data stored?
In secure European infrastructure. Aggregated rollups are retained for the duration of your plan; raw events are retained for 7 days.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You can delete a site and its data at any time from the Sites page. For a full export, email hello@livemetrix.app.
